3D-printed Trebuchet

Published 2021/01/15

What is it?

A trebuchet! 25cm from table to arm axis and 55cm to tip of the arm when upright. Around 20 hours print time. It was meant to be a desk-trebuchet but by the sound of the things I shoot hitting the wall ... it's more of an outdoor-trebuchet 😃 . I have no idea how far it can shoot yet, this will have to wait for the summer when I can use it outdoors.

Got files?

This is a 3d printed project, specifially tailored for the tolerances and "quirks" of my printer. Probably works on any other too, may need a bit filing here and there though.
Personally, planning and modelling all the parts is half of the fun for me, but if someone's interested, let me know and I'll make the files available.
